Chinese courses

O D’HORA was the first Chinese perfumery brand founded by perfumer, aiming to build Chinese high quality fragrances, to share perfumery culture and poetic lifestyle.

The founder, Jieni Fu, was graduated from Grasse Institute of Perfumery.

O D’HORA, as the official representative of Grasse Institute of Perfumery in China, will officially launch jointly a series of training with Grasse Institute of Perfumery in the second half of 2018.

Course Outline

Level 1—-Learn history of perfume and basic knowledge

/To acquire perfumery history background knowledge.

/To acquire technical terms and master the language of perfumery in order to help improve communication efficiency.

/To study raw materials according to different themes: Citrus Family, Aromatic Family, Floral Family…

/To learn classic Cologne formula by creation. With the theme of cologne, do a Perfumery Design Project from brief to realization and give a short presentation as work show.

/To invite guests lecturer to share the marketing knowledge of perfumes from idea to practice.

Level 2—-Deepen perfumery olfactive family and creation

/To deepen the study of olfactive family by classification of raw materials and synthetic materials, e.g. Rosy Family, Jasmine Family, Other Flowers and Woody Family…….

/To write basic accord training, e.g.Jasmine, Rose and Carnation……

/To learn how to create scent, to study perfume masterpieces.

/To do a Perfumery Design Project with the theme of Floral Note from brief to realization, and give a short presentation as work shows.

/To invite guest lecturer to share the marketing or research knowledge of perfumery industry .

Level 3—-The course will take place in Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France. This course is reserved to students who have followed level 1 and level 2 course in Shanghai.

/To visit professional factories and laboratories.

/To communicate with experienced French perfumery teachers and learn from them.

/Flower champs visiting… etc.

This series of training is designed specifically for those who are passionate about the beauty of perfumery world, willing to go further in the industry.

Organization:

Each level lasts for 1 week, from Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm. If there are available seats, entry is possible for one level session (Cost: €1,100), but priority is given to full level sessions appliers. The training fee is directly paid  to Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France. After confirming your entry, we will send you the address.

The training will take place in the O D’HORA premises in Shanghai with deep cultural link.

The Level 1 is planned to start in beginning of December 2018

O D’HORA时光馥是中国首个调香设计师品牌，致力于打造属于中国人自己的高品质香水香氛作品，分享香水文化与诗意生活方式。创始人傅杰妮毕业于法国格拉斯香水学院。

O D’HORA时光馥作为格拉斯香水学院(GIP)中国区的官方代表，于2018年下半年起正式开展与格拉斯香水学院的联合系列课程。

课程大纲

阶段一：学习香水历史和相关基础知识

/香水历史背景知识

/香水专业术语学习

/按不同主题进行香水原料学习：柑橘家族、青草家族、花香家族……

/经典古龙水配方和创作，以古龙为主题进行香水调配实践及作品汇报

/香水市场相关人员分享，从创意到创作的演练

阶段二：学习香料家谱和香气的创造

/深入学习天然原料和合成原料的家谱及分类：玫瑰家族、茉莉及其他花香家族、木质家族……

/编写基本和弦的训练：茉莉花，玫瑰，康乃馨……

/学习如何创香、进行杰出香水的讨论与评估

/以花香调为主题进行香水调配实践及作品汇报

/香水市场相关人员分享，从创意到创作的演练

阶段三：飞往法国格拉斯香水学院(GIP)进行交流学习

/参观专业调香实验室和工厂

/与法国调香老师交流学习

该课程专为没有受过专业教育的香水爱好者设计。

组织

每个阶段持续1周，从周一至周五(10:30-18:00)。如果有可用的座位，可以单阶段入场（费用：1,100欧元），但优先考虑报名全部系列课程的学员。报名费用由学员直接汇款至法国格拉斯香水学院(GIP)。课程确认后，我们将向报名成功的学员发送具体的上课地址。

第二阶段课程将在上海市中心集人文、历史和时尚底蕴于一身的思南公馆进行。第一阶段将计划在2018年12月正式开始。
